The typical day for a body shop is giving repair estimates, negotiating on the behalf of customers with insurance companies, and then doing the actual work, of course.

Many of our customers don’t know that they don’t have to take the recommendation of the insurance company – They have a right to choose whatever body shop they want when it comes to getting their vehicle back on the road.

As a body shop, we decided that prenegotiated deals with insurance companies were not the way to go for us, but we still have good relationships with insurance companies. We’ve maintained the freedom to make sure that we can negotiate on the customers’ behalf though, and that is one of the reasons we continue to get great reviews on Yelp and Facebook.

This 2007 Chevy Tahoe is a typical days work for us. We repaired the side damage, and, because the impact caused the airbags to deploy, so we had to replace those as well.

Here’s our work, start to finish:

We’re busy, but never too busy for you. If you need auto body repair, no job is too small. We do it all. Rust repair, fender benders, major auto collision repair, insurance work, rock chips…We’re here for you.

Choosing the right collision repair company can be stressful. While many consumers would like to believe that the insurance company they work with will have their best interest at heart, many do not understand that they are not obligated to go with their insurance companies recommendation.

As a consumer, you have the right to choose where you have your work completed, and choosing the right collision repair company will make a big difference in your level of satisfaction when the job is done.

Here are a few pointers and questions to ask when looking for an auto body shop.

  1. What are their certifications? Training?
  2. How long have they been in business?
  3. What is their reputation? What do their reviews say about how they treat their customers? Their timeliness?
  4. Do they use original factory parts, or aftermarket/used parts?
  5. Do they warranty their work?

Here’s the deal about us. We have been a locally owned Auto Collision Repair Body Shop located in Ventura CA since 1989. I received my training on the job as an apprentice for a body shop in the 1980’s and went on to build one of the most successful locally owned body shops here in Ventura. We have a reputation for making things right, as you can tell from our reviews on Yelp, Google,  and Facebook.

Have questions about your insurance related collision repair, or want a second opinion? Give us a call, or come by.

Our customers tell us all the time that the reason they choose us is that we aren’t afraid to show our work. They also tell us that our work speaks for itself.

Unlike some local body shops, all of our work is done on site.

We do quality assurance checks, and if WE aren’t happy with the work, we do it again.

We’ve been pretty darned busy lately, and haven’t been taking photos of our work like we know we should, but we promise to start posting more often.

The job below is a 2007 Honda Civic SI –

We did a roof, fender, and bumper auto body collision repair.

If you are checking us out before coming in for an estimate, make sure you check our facebook and yelp pages for reviews.

Reviews and referrals are the highest compliments that our customers pay us. We are proud to be one of Ventura’s oldest locally owned and operated Auto Body Shops.

Call or come by, and we’ll take care of you!
